Summit foundation

he goal of the Summit Foundation is to reduce the environmental impact of human activity – especially in the mountains – with concrete solutions and awareness. For example: since its establishment in 2001, this non-profit foundation has staged an annual Clean-Up Tour. The tour now covers more than 30 stops where each year volunteers collect tonnes of the waste that collects around ski runs and other mountain environments, to the detriment of nature, animals and waterways. Through these high-profile action days, a range of awareness-raising efforts and assistance with scientific studies, the Summit Foundation helps minimise the impact of outdoor activities on our natural surroundings.
