The history of the well-known Italian outdoor equipment company "Concezione Articoli Montagna Premana", short C.A.M.P., began in 1889 in a small workshop in Premana, when Nicola Codega took up blacksmithing in the mountains of the province of Lecco. The workshop was eventually passed on to his son Antonio, the inventor of the famous ice picks for the Alpini Corps. CAMP is now represented in 80 countries, including France, the USA and Russia, with its three brands CAMP, CASSIN and CAMP SAFETY. The company's products stand for lightness and power in line with the "light and fast" motto of modern mountain sports. With over 125 years of experience and dedication to the work, CAMP is now run by the fourth generation of the Codega family. This is also the reason why it remains a unique company, the living expression of an authentic mountain culture between tradition and innovation.
