Climbskin

The founder of Climbskin is Alex, a passionate velcro climber from Madrid. The granite in Spain is sharp and rough and Alex was annoyed by his smeared sleeping bag when he rubbed his sore fingers with greasy paste at night. In 2012, he teamed up with friends and together they developed Climbskin, the hand cream by climbers for climbers. On board were an experimental sports teacher, an environmental expert, a chemist and a biologist. The friends all used their own remedies and tinctures for their battered hands after a long day of climbing. They put their ideas together and spent four years in the laboratory working on the perfect mixture. Most conventional creams were based on wax and only contained single active ingredients. Applying them before climbing was unimaginable, although this would have been important to prevent skin damage. The result is Climbskin: a special line of care products. Climbskin can even be applied before climbing! Climbers such as Chris Sharma, Lynn Hill and Fred Nicole rely on Climbskin's special skin care products.
