It was the untouched landscape of his Latin American homeland that inspired him to create Cotopaxi. The name goes back to the mountain of the same name in Ecuador, which is one of the highest active volcanoes in the world. The founder's love of nature is also reflected in the logo. It shows a llama - a robust animal with a strong will that defies the adverse weather conditions of the Andes.

Cotopaxi uses the llama's natural resilience, weather resistance and adaptability as a ramp angle for the development of hard-wearing sportswear. The brand relies on durable materials with high functionality for its production. The bright colors of the jackets, knit caps, shirts and trousers are a trademark.
