Staying dry and looking good at the same time - thanks to 100 years of experience, a sure hand in design, permanent product development, state-of-the-art craftsmanship and selected materials, Didrikson manages to combine these two attributes very successfully time and again. Even when Julius and Hanna Didrikson made the first oilskins for the fish in Grundsund in 1913, the declared goal was to combine design and functions in perfect harmony. Thanks to innovation and customer focus, the product has been continuously improved. Today, Didriksons continues to emphasize functional clothing with sophisticated details - whether for hunting, skiing, hiking or just for a walk in bad weather. Today there are new, better production methods and fabrics, and in Grundsund they are proud of the development from 1913 to today's collection. Over the years, the traditional company Didriksons has passed many milestones - e.g. the change from classic oilskins to rubber in 1930. The biggest breakthrough came in 1947 with the welding of the outer fabric and rubber layer, which made classic fabrics waterproof on the outside from the inside. The first polyurethanes in 1981 made rainwear affordable for the masses. A short time later, waterproof and breathable fabrics were developed, which revolutionized functional clothing and are used almost exclusively today. Didriksons is one of the pioneers in functional outdoor fashion. Its customers are active people - hikers, golfers, anglers - who demand fashionable and functional clothing.
