Snow leopards love the high altitudes - a passion they share with the Austrian brand Dynafit. It is no coincidence that this extraordinary animal symbolizes all the values and characteristics that mountain athletes also appreciate. Endurance, speed and elegance paired with efficiency are at home in the world's highest regions. Anyone who is out and about in the mountains relies on the quality and functionality of their equipment. Dynafit is the brand by athletes for athletes - always one step ahead and driven by the aspiration to optimally equip mountain endurance athletes in every season. Reliability and innovation are the focus of the production of first-class features in the ski touring, trail running, mountaineering and biking segments. Only those who know what counts on the mountain can get the best out of themselves.
The history of Dynafit began back in 1950, when the company Humanic entered the market with the production of ski boots. Dynafit makes a name for itself among professional athletes - a series of successes in the Downhill World Cup and the Olympic Downhill in Innsbruck go to Dynafit athletes, further successes and awards follow.
In the 1980s, Dynafit develops innovative solutions for mountain sports, e.g. with a new, unprecedentedly light shoe and a CDE (rear entry) collection, at that time the first alpine ski boots with GORE-TEX® Thermo Dry. In the 1990s and 2000s, Dynafit continued its pioneering work in terms of functionality. The company demonstrates its expertise and passion for mountain sports with developments such as the world's lightest tour safety binding and the perfect skiing for all conditions.
A changing corporate structure characterizes the 1990s and extends into the early years of the new century. Since 2003, Dynafit has been part of the Salewa Group and belongs to the family-run company Bolzano. Dynafit's company headquarters are located in Munich. The sporting success of the Dynafit teams and innovative solutions for mountain sports continue to characterize production and development in the following years.
