ION

ION was founded in 2004 by passionate surfers. The athletes initially focussed on wetsuits for the surf, kite and wakeboard scene. ION soon found fans all over the world. They were and still are enthusiastic about the unique combination of high-quality products in progressive designs and styles. In 2013, ION transferred this approach to two wheels and paid tribute to the brand founders' second great passion: mountain biking.

The brand's self-image is not limited to one sport or another: it's not about which sports equipment you ride. ION's aim is for people to experience and feel nature and its elements. That's why ION develops sporting goods that are not only well thought-out and innovative, but also express the enthusiasm for sport in the designs. At ION Bike, this is reflected in clothing, shoes, backpacks and protectors. The greatest motivation for the people behind the brand was and is to be able to spend more time - including working time - on their bikes.
