Elfriede Löffler - who came from the Kunert 'hosiery dynasty' - founded a company in Ried im Innkreis in 1947, which initially mainly produced fine tights and women's knitwear. In 1973, Löffler was taken over and realigned by fish, a skiing manufacturer also based in Ried. The path to a successful sporting future began. As a pioneer for sportswear with high functionality and outstanding comfort, Löffler has now been a household name for 40 years among all those who like to be active and value perfect sportswear. The majority of all Löffler products are still produced according to the latest standards in the company's own production facility in Ried. Löffler has been pursuing the topic of 'sustainable production responsibility' for quite some time and has been following this path very consistently for years. Almost all fabrics are knitted in the company's own knitting mill in Ried, dyed in Central Europe (Austria and Germany) and equipped for further processing.
