Highest comfort and uncompromising functionality - the Nordica ski brand combines what seems incompatible. Since its foundation in 1939, the company has been setting fresh trends in ski boots and skis. Back then, brothers Adriano and Oddone Vaccari from the northern Italian town of Montebelluna decided to use their experience as leather traders to produce innovative mountaineering boots. With a combination of craftsmanship and a personal passion for the untouched nature of the mountains, they produced models that were comfortable, durable and light as a feather. A few years after the company was founded, the Vaccari brothers discovered a promising new segment: ski boots.
It wasn't long before Nordica became the leading brand in this sector too.
By the 1950s at the latest, Nordica had fully arrived in professional skiing. It was the two-time Alpine skiing world champion Zeno Colò who first used the brand's products in a professional race. Numerous aspiring and experienced professionals joined him, so that the company's ski boots became the first choice for professional athletes in the 1970s and 1980s. This great success was based on a combination of three factors: high-quality materials, innovative technology and conscientious workmanship. With a keen sense for new developments, Nordica finally switched from leather to plastic and aluminum. The result was ski boots that met the highest demands in terms of precision, flexibility and fit. Features clothing that passionate skiers still benefit from today.
By the end of the 20th century, more than half of professional athletes were already relying on the brand's robust, high-performance shoes. As a useful addition to the range, the company began manufacturing skis at this time. Today, the selection is divided into special product lines for slope, freeskiing, racing and mountain touring. Beginners with no previous experience will find what they are looking for, as will advanced and professional skiers. The current collections will be presented by brand ambassador Felix Neureuther, among others. In addition to ski boots, skis and ski poles, the company also produces accessories such as backpacks, socks and gloves. This makes the brand the first choice for young and old ski fans who value quality, functionality and aesthetics in their equipment.
