Olight Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2006 in Shenzhen, China. Olight's goal is to produce the most modern and brightest LED flashlights and offer them at fair prices. The company stands for quality, power, design and innovation. The selection ranges from small everyday lamps to tactical LED lamps and LED searchlights. With the Olight SR90, the company developed the world's first torch to achieve a luminosity of 2000 lumens with just a single LED. In April 2012, the Olight X6 was released, which with its 5,000 lumens was the brightest portable torch on the world market at the time.

Every lamp from Olight is manufactured according to the ANSI-NEMA-FL1 flashlights standard, guaranteeing that the lamp can be used optimally in every respect. The FL1 standard describes 6 different areas that a torch must fulfill. 1. luminosity, 2. runtime, 3. luminosity, 4. range, 5. waterproof (IPX4, IPX7 and IPX8 standard and 6. impact resistance. Olight lamps all meet the ANSI-NEMA-FL1 standard.
