Peak Design

The story of Peak Design begins in 2010, when Peter Dering, who had just moved to the Midwest of the USA, decided to take a 4-month trip around the world. In addition to making great new contacts, Peter learned on his travels that a large camera in your luggage has its disadvantages. After his return to the USA, his travel experiences did not let him go and he finally quit his job to solve his "problem" (and probably that of many other photographers): within 10 months, he developed a product that would make carrying and using a camera a pure pleasure. He offered his product to other ambitious amateur photographers via the Internet - and his product went through the roof. The demand was enormous and since that day Peak Design has been dedicated to designing attractive carrying solutions for adventurous photographers who never go anywhere without their camera. Peak Design as a company has made it its mission to treat its customers as equals, to make its own success sustainable and environmentally friendly and to initiate positive change. At the same time, however, the high standards of its own products are not neglected. This philosophy is the reason why Peter and his team are so successful and continue to impress the photography community with new and practical products.
