Until her death on July 7, 2004, Käthi Stebler, who had been diagnosed with incurable cancer, was dependent on an aid to urinate due to her illness. The two founders of the Pibella company, Fabian and René Stebler, were confronted with the disgusting bedpan in use. For this reason, they decided to put an end to this degrading situation for women. Over the course of two years, which were both labor-intensive and costly, they invented and developed the ingenious Pibella Comfort urination aid. This is very comfortable, pleasant and discreet for patients who are unable to get out of bed, and can also be used in a sitting position.
For the more pleasant and carefree times in life, the founders also developed Pibella Travel, which gives women the opportunity to urinate standing or sitting - wherever and however they are.
