Pomoca is known for its fast skins. Many athletes have already finished on the podium in ski touring races with the pink cult skins and they are also becoming increasingly popular with freeriders. The skins are handmade in western Switzerland. Pomoca also manufactures skins for brands such as K2, Dynafit and Salomon. Pomoca was founded in 1933 by the Dufour family in Aubonne on Lake Geneva. Initially, Pomoca sold a rescue sled for rescuing injured skiers. In the late 1930s, they launched the first anti-slip skins made from natural fibers. Pomoca has been part of the Salewa Group since 2011.
