Prana

<p>Breath, life, vitality of the spirit; prAna means "breath of life", "life energy" or "breath of life" in the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit. In the early 1990s, Pam Theodosakis and her husband Beaver came into contact with yoga and climbing at the same time through a friend. The couple were fascinated by the combination of these two elements, as both climbing and yoga have the same basis: "Live in the moment". So it is no wonder that the founders of prAna are pursuing the goal of consciously feeling body and mind, finding the center and at the same time being able to push the limits with clothing for yoga, climbing &amp; bouldering.</p>
<p>In 1992, Theodosakis founded the prAna brand in Carlsbad, California, and began sewing clothing in his own garage with modest means. Even back then, flexibility and functions were just as important as finesse and refinement. In the meantime, the garage brand has become a hip yoga label and famous teachers such as Shiva Rea practise in prAna. prAna seems to have woven a special flow into its fabrics, because getting dressed means feeling good.</p>
