This has been part of the company's philosophy since the hosier Georg Schöffel began selling knitted stockings, socks, nightcaps and Swabian pointed caps in 1804. In the course of an eventful history, the business expanded and became a flourishing textile trade. A modern clothing store was opened in 1960 and a trouser factory in 1961.

 

In 1967, Hubert Schöffel, a sixth-generation businessman, decided to specialize in sportswear. Schöffel has acquired an outstanding reputation in this field.
