About Sigg

Founded in Switzerland over 100 years ago, SIGG continues to impress today with its outstanding design and quality. This is confirmed by the Museum of Modern Arts in New York, which displays two of our bottles in its permanent exhibition. The light weight and functionality make SIGG bottles an indispensable piece of equipment for all adrenaline-seekers. And best of all, all our SIGG bottles are 100% recyclable. SIGG offers the right product for every age group. The traditional company has been manufacturing household goods, in particular bed and drinking bottles, from aluminum in Biel since 1908. Just under a decade later, the name and production site changed and the SIGG aluminum goods factory moved to Frauenfeld. By 1958, the entire range of SIGG products already included several thousand household and sports articles. The first single-colored drinking bottle is launched in 1980, followed a decade later by the now legendary Sportsbottle. Multicolored models with the popular sports cap followed in 1992. Just one year later, SIGG bottles are included in the collection of the Museum or Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. SIGG finally becomes a design classic. The production processes are also improved and optimized. The opening of a new production facility with fully automated screen printing marks a milestone in the history of SIGG in 1995. In 2003, SIGG moves to its new home. Larger storage space and open workplaces are just two of the key factors that have led to improved work processes and positive energy to this day. In 2013, the company presents the SIGG Thermo line with two mugs in the sizes 0.3L and 0.5L, as well as a 0.75L and 1.0L with a drinking cup. One year later, the ;SIGG HOT & COLD line was chosen as the winner of the Red Dot Award 2014 for excellent product design. SIGG bottles are the original. Often copied, never equaled. Because behind it is pure Swiss know-how and high-tech. All aluminum SIGG bottles are produced in Frauenfeld, Switzerland.
