During a camping expedition, Beat Wietlisbach had the idea to found the company. The pegs made of aluminum twisted lightly and scratched all kinds of things. So it was obvious that high-quality pegs made of plastic would do a better job and would also be more environmentally friendly. So something new was born and the Swisspiranha brand was born. The brand offers plastic tent pegs in various lengths, as well as a snow and sand anchor and the Peg Puller for pulling out tent pegs.
