From ski fans for ski fans: With the warming gloves, socks and insoles from Therm-ic, the cold doesn't stand a chance in the snow-covered mountains. It was a strong love of outdoor sports that inspired the founding of the brand. Back in the 1970s, the company's creative minds were looking for a solution to effectively protect hands and feet from icy temperatures on extended skiing tours. Attempts with the then new battery technology failed until 1998, when the first Therm-ic heating insole successfully went into production. This was quickly followed by other products for women, men and kids, such as reinforced socks and warming inner shoes for ski boots.

 

Today, Therm-ic is one of the leading manufacturers of heatable products for sport, recreation and work. The brand has retained its distinctive inventive spirit: in close cooperation with universities and research institutes, the company is constantly optimizing and expanding its own product line. The range now includes battery-powered heated socks, soles and gloves as well as variants with a built-in rechargeable battery. Non-electronic fleece socks and small heat pads for bags complete the range.

 

Therm-ic's self-proclaimed goal is to produce outdoor items that are warm, comfortable and light - without restricting freedom of movement when skiing, trekking or hiking. Particular attention is paid to user-friendliness: selected insoles, vests and gloves are equipped with smart technology and can be conveniently controlled via the company's own 'Therm-ic Heat Control' app. This makes the brand's heatable items a must-have for all those who want to breathe in fresh mountain air even in the freezing cold.
