Lake Garda 1992: Three friends from Munich, Christian, Thorsten and Matthias, are out and about on their mountain bikes on the Tremalzo. They enthusiastically rode the famous trail with the number "222" to Limone. Back then, they wore cut-off trousers from army stocks and normal t-shirts. For one simple reason: the unbeatable casual look.

 

Matthias later studied energy and environmental protection technology, laying the foundations for his ecological awareness. He then worked as an editor for functional clothing at Europe's largest mountain bike magazine. This is where he gained the know-how and expertise for his second foundation stone as a clothing manufacturer.

 

In 2011, Matthias' long-held dream finally came true: he presented the first collection of his own clothing company Triple2, named after his favorite trail on Lake Garda. What makes Triple2 textiles unique is not only their simple, fashionable design with uncompromising functionality, but also their unparalleled sustainability. Probably no other bike dresses manufacturer processes ecologically sustainable materials so consistently. Production takes place almost exclusively in Europe in small factories under socially progressive conditions.
