Cooking espresso with just one hand? That's what Hugo Cailleton, founder of the start-up Wacaco, wanted. In 2013, Wacaco launched its first product, the Minipresso, on the market. Hugo Cailleton had studied industrial design and had already been making espresso machines for many years. The idea for Minipresso came to him during breakfast: on a business trip, he was disappointed with the poor coffee in the hotels. He dreamed of his own mini machine that he could take with him wherever he went.
Today, Wacaco offers the Minipresso and Nanopresso products - cooking espresso with one hand! Wacaco manufactures the small machines from reinforced material so that they can withstand the strain of being on the move. They are designed to conjure up fine coffee for a long time. Wacaco is based in Hong Kong.
