Thermal shirts make your outdoor life lighter

It's all about the combination! Depending on which fibres are combined, your new long-sleeved shirt for men can support you. Cotton is absorbent but dries slowly. Soft merino wool is great, often combined with the benefits of other fibres that provide breathability, elasticity and quick drying. A different material is required for stop-and-go sports than for sweat-inducing sports. Polyester usually offers the greatest advantages here and is often specifically combined with another fibre.

Tight-fitting or loose? A question of activity

In your recreation, you will prefer things to be comfortable and casual. In this case, your long-sleeved shirt should be cut a little wider. However, the situation is completely different if the shirt is worn as a base layer. Too much fabric would get in the way. The fit must be close-fitting for a baselayer. A good long sleeve shirt made from functional material can certainly replace thermal underwear. However, it must really lie against the skin so that the body moisture that evaporates can be reliably wicked away.

There are special tailored cuts for men. The shoulders are naturally cut a little narrower and the sleeves are not quite as long as those of men.
