Thermos bottle: for hot and cold drinks

If you like to keep your drinks chilled or nice and hot during a long tour, you need a well-insulated thermos bottle, also known as a thermos flask, vacuum flask or vacuum jug. You can take your drinks with you safely and always at the right temperature in these.

• It is light and does not weigh down your luggage unnecessarily.
• They are available in different sizes so that you can take the right one with you for short or long tours.
• The material (e.g. stainless steel) is rust-proof, break-proof, leak-proof and robust.
• The closure of the vacuum flask can be screwed on tightly so that no liquid is guaranteed to leak out. With many models, you can also open the lid lightly with just one hand.
• It is best if the thermoses are double-walled and vacuum-insulated so that drinks stay hot or cold for a long time. Good thermoses keep their contents hot or cold for at least six to twelve hours.
• The outer material should be as easy to grip as possible so that it doesn't slip out of your hand so easily.
• Many models have a lid that can also be used as a drinking cup. This means you can comfortably drink your drinks from the mug when you're out and about.

• The thermoses are light to clean. Some models are even dishwasher safe.
