Gift cards

Gift cards can be loaded with any desired amount both online and in all Transa branches. For example, you can load a gift card for CHF 33 for someone’s 33rd birthday. For more information, please contact us by phone on +41 (0)848 0848 11 or by email at info@transa.ch.

As this is an exchange of a means of payment, it is not possible to purchase and ship gift cards using payment by invoice. Similarly, you cannot apply any discounts to the purchase of the gift card. When ordering online, you can pay by credit card or prepayment. If you buy the gift card in-store,  the usual payment methods apply.

You can order your Transa gift card easily and conveniently from home through our online shop. Or you can stop by one of our store branches. At the checkout you can ask for the gift card, pay for it and take it with you immediately.

Transa gift cards are valid online and in all our stores. They have no expiry date. You can also redeem them for reduced items and in combination with promotions.

You can redeem your gift card in the online shop during the check-out process during the ‘payment’ step. Simply enter the number on the back of your gift card (13-digit number) in the ‘gift card’ field and click on ‘redeem’. After your order is completed, we can no longer credit your gift card. But because it doesn’t have an expiry date, you can simply use it for your next purchase.

When redeeming the card, you do not need to redeem the full amount: if you have a CHF 100 gift card and make a purchase of CHF 59, the remaining balance of CHF 41 stays on the card.

If you no longer know if and how much money is left on your gift card, you can send us an email or call us. We can tell you the balance by using the number on the back of the gift card. Or you can check in person at one of our branches at the checkout.

If you paid for your order with a gift card and return the item, we will send you a new gift card by A Mail upon receipt of the return.

There is no special field on our gift cards, and the picture is also not changeable. However, you are welcome to write or draw something on the gift card yourself. Important: the barcode and the number on the back must remain clear.

We send gift cards by A Post. If the letter has not reached you, please contact us. Call us on +41 (0)848 0848 11 or send us an email to info@transa.ch. We will send you a new card immediately.

If your gift card is not accepted in the online shop, you can send us an email (info@transa.ch) with the error message. Make sure to also let us know the number on the gift card. We’ll find out where the problem is coming from and get back to you as soon as possible.

Transa gift cards cannot be cancelled or paid out.
