Waterproof, robust and comfortable trekking shoe for women with a grippy Vibram sole and innovative technologies - ideal for medium-difficulty tours.
The Alterra II GTX W's from Aku is a comfortable hiking boots that feels most at home on medium-difficulty, medium-length tours in mixed terrain. It impresses with both high-quality materials and an excellent fit. Thanks to the waterproof GORE-TEX® lining, your feet will stay dry even in the rain or when crossing rivers.
GORE-TEX® More Seasons technology is integrated into the shoe and ensures optimized breathability and waterproofness. Sweat in the form of water vapor can escape to the outside so that you feel comfortable in your shoes at any time of year and in any weather. In addition, the upper material made with the AKU AIR 8000 system has up to 11.5 times higher breathability compared to other GORE-TEX® shoes.
The Vibram sole is known for its outstanding grip and stability on a wide variety of underground surfaces. It offers maximum safety and impresses with its high durability.
In combination with the Internal Midsole System (IMS3), the exoskeleton framework, in which the midsole consists of an outer skeleton made of polyurethane and is raised at the rear to surround and protect the heel, ensures optimum support and stability when walking. The asymmetrical structure, with a wider inner part and a polyurethane elevation, provides support to the midfoot while preventing overload and thus pronation.
The shoe is perfectly adapted to the female foot. The Elica system ensures unique wearing comfort. It replicates the shape of the sole of the foot, supports the normal inclination of the heel and forefoot and thus reduces impact and strain. The asymmetrical lacing system combined with the tongue made from GORE-TEX® stretch fabric ensures a good fit and optimum comfort.
With the Alterra II GTX, you're ready for a world of undiscovered trails. So tighten your shoelaces and breathe in the freedom of nature - with these hiking boots, you'll be ready to write stories to tell tomorrow.
