The Viaz GTX from Aku is suitable for demanding hikes and via ferrata. Reinforced where the strongest friction occurs and a comfortable fit characterize it. The Internal Midsole Systems (IMS) is a special construction of the inner sole. It combines a traditional nylon support structure with a layer of microporous material attached to the inside of the upper. In this model, the inner sole is complemented by another midsole made of thin microporous ethyl vinyl acetate. This allows the soles to adapt perfectly to the anatomy of your foot. And ensures even pressure distribution. The foot is prevented from slipping around in the shoe and still allows the foot to feel its surroundings precisely. So you never lose your stride.
