The Hawx Ultra XTD W is one of the lightest hybrid boots for women. This means that it looks and functions like a ski boot, but only weighs around 1.5 kilograms. The low weight can be achieved thanks to the very thinly injection-moulded Grilamid shell and the light inner shoe. The Hawx Ultra XTD W is built on a sporty last with a width of 98 millimetres. However, if you need a little more width: Thanks to Memory Fit, the shell can be widened slightly with relative ease using just a stove. Despite the overlap construction, shaft rotation is sufficient and, above all, almost resistance-free. When closed, on the other hand, the Hawx Ultra XTD W is quite hard and direct and offers the necessary flex despite the relatively stubborn Grilamid. Grip Walk soles give you good walking comfort and the option of using all GripWalk-compatible alpine bindings. GripWalk soles fit all ID binding types from Brand and all MNC bindings from Salomon. Thanks to the inserts, the Hawx also fits into every pin binding type. The Mimic liner is thin, but made from a stable and thermoformable foam. It is also ergonomically pre-shaped around the ankles. The buckles can be fixed in the open position, which is particularly useful when walking. The power strap is equipped with a clamp that can be pulled tight.
