It is also coated with polyurethane, which makes the blanket extremely water-repellent. This means that the picnic blanket can be spread out on damp or dirty ground without any problems and is therefore ideal for picnics - on the beach, at sporting events, at music festivals or as a crawling blanket when out and about. To keep it in place, the corners are designed with bags in which you can fill sand or stones to weigh it down. It also has elastic loops in each corner to secure it to, around or with tent poles or pegs. After use, you can store the blanket extremely small in the sewn-on packsack.
