Deuter backpacks are generally equipped with a chest strap. If yours is lost or broken, you can easily retrofit the chest strap. The purpose of a chest strap is to secure the fit of the backpack and prevent it from slipping over your shoulders. The chest strap is opened and closed with an easy-to-use click fastener and can be individually adjusted with a handle.
