About 99% of the plastic used for this soap dish was collected from the oceans and consists mainly of discarded fishing nets - also known as ghost nets. This eco-friendly, sustainable project was developed by Foekje Fleur in collaboration with Sea Shepherd. Sea Shepherd is committed to protecting the fragile ecosystem of our oceans and supports projects such as the Ocean Bubble Buddy, which gets its dark green color from a special mixture of collected ocean plastic. You can use it to grate soap, mix it in water and use it for a variety of household and body applications. The holes in the grater side keep your soap dry and ensure a long shelf life.
