The light poncho for extreme weather. The Bivy-Poncho UL from Exped can be worn as rain protection, even over a backpack. However, in an emergency it can also be used as a tarpaulin, a substitute for a tent, a rain cover, a stretcher for injured people, an auxiliary sail, a floating aid filled with grass, a tent pad and even as a hammock (tie it off well). The poncho is waterproof and has welded seams. Press studs ensure that the poncho can be adjusted to the body size and loops ensure that it can be tightened. The double press stud strips allow the poncho to be closed all the way round on all sides, so it can be converted into a waterproof bivy sack in all extreme cases. The anatomical hood rotates with your head. The poncho packs down brilliantly into its own chest pocket and can be worn around the shoulders or hips.
