A touring boot with outstanding stability and power transmission for demanding descents.
Hardly any other ski boots combine as much comfort on the ascent with outstanding performance on the descent as the Transalp Pro from fish. The Transalp Pro is the perfect combination of the descent-oriented Ranger Free ski boot and the ascent-oriented Travers ski boot.
It has inherited the 80 degree shaft rotation, the gaiter that prevents snow and water from penetrating and its low weight (1280 grams for size 26.5) from the Travers line.
However, as soon as the boot is set to downhill mode, the advantages of the Ranger Free come into play: a progressive flex of 120, high lateral stiffness and the resulting precise steering of the skis.
This is achieved with a stable double lock ski/walk mechanism, a light, pre-shaped, reinforced and very supportive lace-up inner shoe, its two easy-to-use, finely adjustable buckles and an excellent powerstrap. This closure mechanism allows the strap to be opened and unhooked lightly, especially in icy conditions, without having to be completely rethreaded afterwards. Particularly practical: all buckles and straps can be operated intuitively and with just one hand.
All of this is built into a light, yet stable and robust outer boot made from Pebax Rnew. The material is based on sustainable raw materials and enables a very low overall weight with high stiffness values.
The Transalp Pro is perfect for riders who want a descent-oriented boot with stability and power transmission, but don't want to compromise on light weight and comfort for the ascent.
