In addition to real-time heart rate data, it records your running efficiency values - including ground contact time, stride length, vertical ratio and running performance. The chest strap also provides you with detailed pace and distance data for indoor running sessions on the track or treadmill. You can also use it for swimming, in which case the data is stored and then sent to a compatible smartwatch. The dual transmission via ANT+ and Bluetooth Low Energy transmits the performance data in real time to Garmin smartwatches or Edge bike computers, but also to compatible training devices or online platforms such as Tacx or Zwift.
