Therefore, Giro has tried to provide the widest field of vision on the mountain. On the one hand, through a hemispherical lens with precise curvature to optimize the field of vision. On the other hand, through a very flat shape that keeps the sides of the lens close to your face. The EXV+ technology in the Contour RS combines these features so you can see more of the mountain than ever before. The result: more fun and more awareness of risks. You can see the take-off and landing clearly and can change the lens if necessary with the magnetic quick-change system. It uses self-positioning magnets to enable a lightning-fast lens change and securely fix the lens in position. About the lens itself - the toric shape of the injection-molded lenses mimics the shape of the human eye to provide excellent optics while creating a larger volume of air inside the goggle, which prevents fogging. The manufacturing, testing and quality control of the toric lenses is carried out by ZEISS Optics and is subject to the highest standards. VIVID technology gives you the feeling of a blue day, even when the sky turns milky. Flat light is an age-old problem for snow sports enthusiasts - when clouds or haze obscure the view of the terrain with the naked eye. Confidence then dwindles.
