The Gränsfors Wildmarks axe is a compact axe that can also split larger logs thanks to its perfect grinding angle. The 36 centimeter long handle gives you strength and accuracy when working with the axe. This allows you to chop down large branches or split small tree trunks for a campfire with the Wildmarks axe. The shape of the blade guard is designed to cover the cutting edge and the upper part of the neck. If you carry the axe on your backpack, it prevents the axe head from cutting into the backpack. An axe is only as good as its smith - all axes made by Gränsfors Bruk are forged by hand. Ovako steel is used, which is obtained exclusively from recycled scrap metal. The steel used has been specially developed to produce the perfect axe head. The steel is not too hard, not too soft and not too flexible.
