The Guppyfriend wash bag enables gentle washing of synthetic garments and ensures that fewer microfibers end up in rivers and oceans during washing. The wash bag also ensures that significantly fewer fibers break off during washing. The broken fibers of the clothing are deposited in the corners. After washing the laundry in the Guppyfriend, the microfibers are removed from the bag and disposed of in the residual waste. The wash bag itself does not lose any microplastic fibers.
