The Bluestrait Mid ES from Hanwag is a high, warm and waterproof winter shoe with a particularly grippy sole that also uses recycled or sustainable materials. The outside is made from abrasion-resistant nubuck leather. On the inside, a waterproof membrane is used that does not contain PFC or similar substances. The warming and anti-odour insole is made from merino wool and recycled polyurethane foam. And the soles with fiberglass inserts provide extra grip. The boots have classic mountain boot lacing and also protect the toes and heels from too much contact with rocks and ice.
