The Fjäll Extreme GTX from Hanwag is perfectly prepared for winter trekking and snowshoe tours. The soles are equipped with 14 IceGrip zones: These have the finest glass particles incorporated into the rubber compound so that you won't slip on icy surfaces and can track safely through low snow. Inside, the Fjäll Extreme GTX has a waterproof Gore-Tex membrane. The thermal inner shoe is made of four layers of felt with a heat-reflecting aluminum layer, has an outsole for use as a hut boot and its own lacing system. PU-laminated velour is used in the lower part of the upper, which protects the boot from moisture, ice, chafing and impacts and is perfect for use with snowshoes. With this boot, your feet can withstand temperatures down to -35 degrees Celsius, tested in accordance with DIN EN 12784 by the independent testing and research institute Pirmasens.
