Classic, robust leather trekking boot with extra space in the toe box.
The Tatra II Bunion is a classic ankle-high trekking boot made of leather on the outside and lined with leather on the inside. Many people suffer from a misalignment of the big toes (hallux valgus) and a stiffening of the metatarsophalangeal joint. For these people, Hanwag uses a special last, the so-called bunion last. It offers much more space for the metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe. This (as well as the heel) is also protected with a raised rubber edge. The upper is also made of soft leather and has ventilation holes, and the tongue stays where you lace it up with tongue hooks. The Vibram tread sole is durable and offers good rolling properties. Of course, the soles are also resoleable thanks to the tweaked design. The right shoe for gravel paths, forest trails, scree and via ferrata.
