The Katadyn Ceradyn filter element is the suitable replacement filter for the Katadyn Drip Ceradyn gravity filter. The ceramic used and the silver it contains safely eliminate harmful bacteria and parasites (e.g. Cryptosporidium and Giardia) without the water losing its healthy minerals. The microorganisms are larger than the mini-pores of the filter ceramic and are retained on or in the filter element. The silver quartz gravel contained in the core also has a disinfecting effect and prevents microbial contamination during downtimes. The ceramic filter is protected by food-safe plastic caps. In contrast to disposable filters, the ceramic can be cleaned several times - cleaning is easy, even on the go. This means you can use the filter for longer and have lower operating costs.
