The Katadyn activated carbon bottle adapter is an external, refillable activated carbon cartridge drinking water filter for all water filters with an outlet hose. The bottle adapter is attached to the end of the outlet hose. The activated carbon in the bottle adapter reduces chemicals in the filtered water flowing through and thus improves the taste of drinking water. Each 200 liters of water can be filtered with the two activated carbon packets. When the activated carbon granulate is filled in, a fine dust is produced which is rinsed out with the first liter.
