Katadyn Micropur Classic MC 1000F

With Micropur Classic MC 1000F from Katadyn, harmful germs and bacteria in the water are safely and easily inactivated by silver ions. The effect of Micropur Classic is based on the bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties of silver. Unlike chlorine, which only works in water for a few hours, silver ions make water last for up to six months. The silver ions attach themselves to the cell walls of microorganisms, preventing them from growing. One milliliter is sufficient for ten liters of water - the 100 milliliters content is therefore sufficient for a total of 1000 liters of clear drinking water. The water can be stored for up to six months after two hours of exposure. The liquid is particularly useful where drinking water remains in a system for a long length of time - i.e. in cooling circuits, heating circuits, humidifiers, cisterns, water tanks, water baths, incubators, etc.. It is therefore also ideal for preserving water in boats, campers, caravans, cabins and more.
