The Katana Women's by La Sportiva is a versatile women's climbing shoe for a wide variety of climbing styles - such as alpine tours, cracks or indoor climbing. The Katana Women's offers a good fit for narrow feet. The technically versatile shoe relies on the tried-and-tested Velcro system for closing, adjusting and opening. The Velcro straps are fastened in the opposite direction, guaranteeing an optimum fit. The fastening straps are made of injected polyurethane, to which the velcro is welded. The upper of the shoe is made from a balanced combination of synthetic and calfskin, which guarantees good comfort and a lasting fit. The women's version differs from the men's version in terms of shape, but above all also in terms of the lower structural hardness. The shoe uses thinner materials. The shoe is lined in the heel area, the midsole is continuous and only 0.8 millimeters thick. This allows the shoe to deform and adapt better to footfall variations despite the lower weight impact.
