Lightest carbon fiber cartridge for avalanche backpacks from Mammut.

The big advantage of the carbon fiber cartridge is its weight. Compared to an aluminum cartridge, you save 40 % in weight. When filled, the carbon cartridge weighs a straight 300 g. You don't have to throw it away after use, you can return it and get a deposit back or pay only for the filling instead of a complete new cartridge. The cartridge is compatible with all Mammut avalanche backpacks (from winter 11/12) and is an essential component of an avalanche airbag system. As there are several to choose from, it is not included in any avalanche backpacks.
