Meindl Asti GTX

Waterproof hiking shoe with more space in the toe area and cushioned heel.

The Asti GTX from Meindl is a waterproof, light shoe for hiking that offers more space in the forefoot area, which Meindl calls the Comfort-fit concept. The special, wider last shape creates more space in the ball of the foot and toe area with a tight, well-fitting heel. The multi-layer cork footbed and cushioned heel also ensure foot comfort. The suede leather used is particularly soft yet hard-wearing. The cuff and tongue areas are also particularly soft, which ensures the best wearing comfort. Combined with the sole construction, which impresses with a grippy profile and very good damping, fatigue-free walking over long lengths, e.g. on long-distance hikes, is possible. The toe area is reinforced with a rubber protective edge. Thanks to the tweaked design, the shoe is also resoleable.
