The Pure Comfort 3.0 has a thin, non-slip Vibram rubber tread sole and a protective toe rand and can be precisely adjusted with classic shoelaces. And to make sure you're better than barefoot, the shoe isn't completely purist, but has a moisture-wicking lining and footbed.
