The fabric wicks away moisture, dries quickly and is soft and cool against the skin. The trousers have a high waistband at the back to prevent them from slipping, two side pockets, a zip pocket on the thigh and boot-friendly zippers on the slim-cut trouser legs. And when it's warm enough, you can simply detach the trouser legs at the zip and have shorts that reach to mid-thigh.
