The Nikwax liquid wax neutral is the perfect care for smooth, waterproof leather shoes. Tanning agents maintain the structure of the leather and therefore its support capacity. If a shoe absorbs water, these tanning agents are missing. This leads to stiff leather, which is also prone to cracking. Nikwax liquid wax immediately makes the leather water-repellent again and at the same time maintains its breathability. But you can use Nikwax liquid wax not only for shoes, you can also treat gloves in this way to improve their grip and suppleness. However, it should only be applied to leather parts. Other leather textiles - with and without membranes - can also be treated with this product. It is very environmentally friendly and does not contain any solvent-based waxes or fluorocarbons: For light-colored or very colored shoes, please test on an inconspicuous area first. Do not dry shoes near radiators, open fires or in closed rooms. You can also stuff the shoes with newspaper to help them dry faster and keep their shape (change the newspaper from time to time).
