The Cloudventure from On is for cloud runners who are looking for a light but fully damping shoe for off-road running. The two-layer mesh fabric is water-repellent but still breathable. The toe cap is made of dense fabric to protect the toes. The heels and sides are also reinforced with rubber. The patented CloudTec sole offers special damping, ideal for downhill runs. Eleven separate elements (Clouds) are compressed on impact to absorb the impact forces on the descent. This horizontal damping complements the standard vertical damping. The intelligent Clouds only bounce on impact. Then they harden and support a powerful push-off. And since the CloudTec sole works both off-road and on the road, you can sprint from the mountain down to the valley with your Cloudventure. The innovative lacing of the Cloudventure supports the entire back of the foot and prevents pressure points. The diagonal guidance of the shoelaces follows the natural movement of the foot. You will see the shoelaces but hardly feel them. The grippy rubber sole of the Cloudventure grips even in the most demanding conditions. It is micro-engineered on four levels. The entire sole features a pressed triangular pattern and is designed with newly developed "sticky" rubber to prevent the shoes from slipping. Arrow-shaped elements on the heel and in the front of the sole provide secure traction on impact and when converting bounce to push-off. Crystal-shaped elements provide directional grip and stability without interfering with movement and shark-like teeth on the sides bite into the terrain.
