The 150 Merino Cool fabric is made from the natural fibers merino wool and Tencel. The Tencel fiber is round in cross-section with a smooth surface. Combined with the fine, soft merino fibers, the result is an incredibly comfortable, soft fabric that drapes beautifully. Merino wool is also naturally anti-odour and has natural uv protection. The material mix is made robust and efficient by a complex spinning process: Beta-spun technology refers to a manufacturing process in which fine polyamide filaments are spun around the merino wool and Tencel. The protective polyamide coat makes the fabric extremely abrasion-resistant and robust - without losing the benefits of merino fibers and the cooling Tencel fibers.
