The Swisswool Piz Duan Vest M from Ortovox warms without weighing much. The outside of the vest is made of water-repellent impregnated polyamide, which also offers freedom of movement thanks to mechanical stretch. The inside is filled with elastic Swisswool, which is light yet warm at 70 grams per square meter. The insulation offers excellent insulation values at a significantly lower weight. There are numerous air pockets around the new wool, which can store large quantities of heat. If you roll up the vest, the air escapes and it can be packed up very small. The vest has an elasticated hood, can be packed into its own breast pocket and attached to the belt with the loop - in case you get warm again.
